I'm going to get this out of the way and then continue on with the drivel you SO MUCH ENJOY. AAHAHAHAHAH!
Here's an update on one of the films I blogged about quite a whilez ago. I'm in it! Hey, how 'bout that! We're going to start shooting mid-April in Los Angeles for 10 days or so. Here's the problem, though: $$$$. Yeah, you got it. Never Knows Best Productions has a pledge drive goin' on until March 25. The page is actually pretty awesome. A $10 donation gets you a copy of the finished product, and $25 gets you that AND a "Thanks" in the ending credits. Granted, if you're one of those people who takes baths in Hamiltons, feel free to donate more. Feel free to e-mail me if you have questions or blah blah blah BLAAAH. End.
I've been doing some writing lately, mostly music reviews for Ink 19. I've noticed that when I get an album I really can't stand, I find it harder to write. I try to write about it as objectively as I can, and weigh both sides of a claymation death match between "I really hated this," and "But some people eat this shit up, for real." When I first started doing it, I decided not to do any research on the bands prior to this specific and treat it as a standalone piece, but after a while -- MEEHHHH, sometimes I need to look up the MySpace page.
Freelance work is also starting to bubble up, which is fine. I like being busy, but I've started a new sleep schedule to combat the Home-After-Work Coma. Starting now, I wake up at 5am during the week, so I can watch movies, make things, read, write.
