This one continues to be my favorite. It's from Sweden:

Next, Jared has an interview with the Best Buy closest to my parents' house. He got another call today from the other Best Buy not so close to my parents' house. So, hopefully, he'll have to cancel tomorrow's because he was offered a job today. Ehhhh, I'm trying not to get too excited, but I just know this will be the boost that's been so vital to overall morale.
In other news, I'm deciding to take control of my eating/exercise habits. I need to unlearn eating because I'm bored/stressed and start to learn to incorporate resistance exercise in my daily routine. It's one thing to take a walk every day, but it's quite another to push yourself more and more each day, little by little, mind you. I'm going to try and eat more protein, less sugary/salty snack foods, and less bread things. Not completely, but I've noticed that I eat a waffle, a sandwich, potato chips, and something else bread-related purely out of laziness. I'm trying to remind myself that I really do love cottage cheese, carrot sticks, grapes, and the bean family.
This is right after I inhaled a bologna sandwich with melted provolone cheese, salt and vinegar potato chips, and a half a glass of low-fat chocolate milk. Goooo.
Lastly, yay for my cousin's baby boy Nolan! YAAAAYYY! And yay for my other cousin's baby Warren who can now stand up on his own. AAAHHHHHH! And yay for my friend Anne's baby Phoebe 'cause she's so freakin' precious and funny! BAAAABIIIESSSSS.
Ahem. Sorry. Baby freak-out.
Very lastly, My Milk Toof.
I've been attempting to eat more vegetarian foods without just eating pasta all the time. It's tough to change up your eating habits, but I found that after only a week, I went back to eating as I had been and just felt... gross.
ReplyDeleteAs a result, I suggest: eating brown rice/whole grain breads&pastas. I'm full pretty much constantly when I eat veggies and whole grains.
(Today, for lunch, I made my own hummus, put it on a whole grain wrap with some veggies. Surprisingly quick & easy minus the making of the chickpeas, which I'd done before and froze.)
Esp. if you're bored/stressed, you can spend time cooking as therapy? I have lots of pretty tasty recipes, many of which are actually somewhat healthy.
